I have been asked to let you all know some really horribly sad news......

That on Monday 24th August at approximately 6pm TrinityRhino's wonderful husband was killed in a car crash.

He was working near Biggar in Scotland and was on his way home when his van and a 17-5 ton lorry collided.

Thankfully he was killed instantly and did not suffer although as you will all understand the family's suffering is on going

As many of you will know Trinity and I are really close friends and I feel as if my heart has been ripped out and have only now felt I was strong enough to post this for her (I wouldn't post without her permission) and can only imagine how she and her 3 little girls and her 2 stepsons are feeling

The world is most definately a worse place for the loss of this wonderful husband, dad & friend.

I hope that makes sense as I can hardly see the keys for tears

Oh goodness. I really don't know what to say apart from I'm so sorry to hear this terrible news.

Take care Trinity and family and take every day as it comes. I'm glad you have good friends around you.

Hi all.

Just a quick update.

Trinity is coping as well as can be expected.

Can I ask another favour of you all please....

The funeral is taking place on friday 5th sept at 10am.

Can you all send positive vibes please to help her get through this awful experience.

There will be a lot of her good friends there with her but knowing you are all raising a glass to her Dh around that time will also help her.

Thank you all so much for all your lovely caring comments, Trinity has started to try to read them and they will continue to be a source of comfort in the days and months ahead for Trinity and us all.

hey all, this isnt trinityrhino, this is craig (dss2), we all really appreciate your thoughts and well wishes and im really glad to know my dsm has so many friends on here who wish her well. she asked me to write to everyone but doesnt know what im saying so i hope im doing her justice here.

she has read some of the posts and really appreciates it, she still can't read them all or post back herself but she, and myself, want you all know how thankful she is for the support during this difficult time.

It is very comforting to know with this tragic loss there are many people who care and will be there for her.
