I have been asked to let you all know some really horribly sad news......

That on Monday 24th August at approximately 6pm TrinityRhino's wonderful husband was killed in a car crash.

He was working near Biggar in Scotland and was on his way home when his van and a 17-5 ton lorry collided.

Thankfully he was killed instantly and did not suffer although as you will all understand the family's suffering is on going

As many of you will know Trinity and I are really close friends and I feel as if my heart has been ripped out and have only now felt I was strong enough to post this for her (I wouldn't post without her permission) and can only imagine how she and her 3 little girls and her 2 stepsons are feeling

The world is most definately a worse place for the loss of this wonderful husband, dad & friend.

I hope that makes sense as I can hardly see the keys for tears

Trinity - I am so, so sorry to hear this awful news. Words are simply not enough.

Thinking of you and your family.

I'm glad you have got such good friends with you who are looking after you, but please, please look after yourself and be kind to yourself.

Trinity I'm so, so sorry that this dreadful thing has happened to you and your family.

I doubt this is of any help now but it might be at some point. Something very similar happened to my family - my mum was 32, I was 7 and my brother and sister were 5. Whilst it was the most awful thing that has happened in my life it hasn't defined my life. I still feel that I had a great childhood and I have done lots of things since because I realise that life is for living. When I talk to my mum about how on earth she coped she just says that she had to - often justing putting one foot in front of the other was hard but she said that she just concentrated on that step.

Oh Trinity. I am so very very sorry. I cannot imagine how you are feeling and coping. But you will cope. It won't be easy but you will have lots of people here helping you on and supporting you.

Purplepillow, thank you for updating us, and thank you also for taking care of Trinity. I know she is your RL friend so means such a lot to you but there are lots of us here that care about her and it is good to know that she has such a good friend there with her helping her through this awful time.

That hasn't come out right at all but I hope you read it in the way it was meant

I just want to say sorry this has happened to you and your children. What a terrible shock. We moan about little day to day irritations in AIBU and then something really shit like this happens. I wish we could actually make you feel better
