I have been asked to let you all know some really horribly sad news......

That on Monday 24th August at approximately 6pm TrinityRhino's wonderful husband was killed in a car crash.

He was working near Biggar in Scotland and was on his way home when his van and a 17-5 ton lorry collided.

Thankfully he was killed instantly and did not suffer although as you will all understand the family's suffering is on going

As many of you will know Trinity and I are really close friends and I feel as if my heart has been ripped out and have only now felt I was strong enough to post this for her (I wouldn't post without her permission) and can only imagine how she and her 3 little girls and her 2 stepsons are feeling

The world is most definately a worse place for the loss of this wonderful husband, dad & friend.

I hope that makes sense as I can hardly see the keys for tears

Just wanted to post this here as well as the practical help thread.

It's a candle lighting site where we can light a candle in Mr TR's memory, I've set up a group for him already, just click on a candle to light it and add a message

Oh I'm so so sorry, there are now words...... .

I saw this on the bbc Scotland site on Wednesday, never for a moment would I have thought it affected someone I "know" (ykwim).

This is awful, awful news. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I hope that you are taking comfort in your children, and that you and purple have all the strength you need at this time. Wishing you peace.

Just wanted to send love and courage to Trinity and family through this awful time.

If only each person who's posted their sympathy could physically give her a tiny bit of their own courage, Trinity could walk a thousand feet tall through this devastating time, so many beautiful messages from so many people who care.
