Did your loved one experience deathbed visions?

My loved one saw her deceased grandmother while she was in the active dying stage. I choose to believe that her grandmother was there to help my loved one cross over.

Did your loved one experience something similar?

Yes. My mum saw lots of things that weren’t there. For the last couple of days, she’d look beyond us; she didn’t make eye contact with us. It was very unsettling, but all the visions she had seemed to be positive ones.

i like to think that people have someone to help them over.

Yes, my dad saw his pet budgie from when he was a kid

My grandma was calling out to her mum, the nurse said it was very common

My mum, who was very poorly at the time and hadn't spoken for days, looked past me and said "Dad!" She died a couple of days later. They were very close and I like to think he'd come to collect her.

Yes dad's eyes went bright and he said mam. He was resuscitated but died again soon after.

Yes. I found it lovely actually. She wasn’t religious at all, and neither am I, but the thought that her loved ones were letting her know that what was coming next was not to be feared, has stayed with me and gave me great comfort.

No
He didn’t want to die and there were no comforting hallucinations.

My mum’s best friend said to her daughter “Oh look here’s your Dad! He’s so happy to see us!” the day before she died. I think that’s lovely.

Having been with 3 relatives when they died, then no, there were no ‘deathbed visions’; one was pretty much comatose for 4 days, one was very restless and making noises for several hours, one went to sleep and didn’t wake up but it was obvious when they actually died.

My dad didn't want to die either but he still saw something that we couldn't see that gave him some form of peace.

LaBelleSauvage123 · Yesterday 18:29

My mum looked past us and said 'hello my darling' just before slipping into a coma.

My dad thought he was sat on his favourite chair looking out onto the view, he was actually in a hospital cubical. He knew we were there at the very last moment as he said "I love you" and took his last breath.
