Just wanted to say I'm getting counselling ( 6 sessions free) through Mind and I have been.paired with an amazing counsellor. Only 30 but I really relate.
Had an awful 5 months since ds's suicide.

Counselling sounds like it will be really helpful, I'm so very sorry about your son Flowers

I think you must have had another thread, which I haven't seen but I couldn't read & run

@AuntieMarys I am so glad the counselling is helpful. I still can't imagine how tough it is for you and I bet your son would be so proud of you x

I am so sorry about your DS’s suicide, OP.

I found bereavement counselling hugely helpful after losing my beloved baby brother in an accident. I hope you do, also

It's good being able to offload to a stranger who has been through something similar. My friends think I'm very brave but I see it as I have to just get on with life and not be miserable. Life goes on.

Thank you...just had my 3rd. I feel really good at the moment....to be honest I've done so much reading about the whole situation independently, I feel a bit of a fraud talking to her.
His birthday is coming up which will be hard...Mothers Day not so much as I don't take any notice if it...and I'm still a mother!
