How to help after a child dies?

Hi,
A family member's child has died recently after an illness of about a year, but they passed away sooner than anyone was expecting. What is something helpful but non-intrusive we can do for them during this time? We were thinking a Cook delivery but then they'll need freezer space... what did you find helpful or know others have found helpful? We all want to help but don't know how, it's awful.
Thanks.

Cook delivery would be a good practical thing to do and very kind.

A simple text to offer at any time to talk or message about anything if they need to talk.

Also if you were close, scour your phone photos in case you have any pictures with their child in, even in the background. Print them off to give them. I know someone this meant so much to to suddenly have previously unseen pictures of their dc x

Oh that is so desperately sad . Definitely a cook delivery will be appreciated. A friend did the same for our family when my mum died suddenly and it was so thoughtful. Xx
