I'm crying as I write this... did anyone see it tonight?

Unicorn - I watched it (twice) and was in tears both times. As a midwife I thought it was very well done. My only criticism was the baby lying on the resuscitaire under the light. We remove that piece of equipment from the room as it is used to resuscitate babies at birth and it was known that wouldn't be necessary in this case.

Sadly it can happen that movement has been felt in the morning, not to be felt again. However, it is not that common so I hope all pregnant mumsetters out there won't get over worried about it.

MTJ - sorry to read about your experience

Bigmerlin - meant to say that there really is no specific time to worry about babies movements. Women become aware of their own baby's pattern of movement. It you think that your baby has not moved for a while then it is an idea to stimulate it. That can be done with a poke and prod, drink of iced water, lying in a bath, lying on side eating chocolate apparently. Sometimes it is that you are too busy to notice it so sometimes a period of concentrating on it is enough. If any woman was worried about lack of movement for whatever time, she should contact her midwife/hospital.
