I am about to start writing my cards. Heart is not really in it due to losing parent this year.
Just wondering if anoyone has seen any suitable xmas cards to send to the bereaved. Don't want to cause offence.
Would also love to write a card for late parent. Again not sure where to get a suitable card.
Any advice appreciated.
Thank you

Hi Norton 84. My condolences for your loss. The following is all said with gentleness and consideration for your circumstances.
I'm not sure if any of this will help or if I've understood this bit correctly - "Would also love to write a card for late parent." - our local hospice has a "Light a Life" for Christmas tree. You send them a donation, large or small, and they dedicate a light on the tree to that person. They have a book of remembrance with the names in and they send the donor(s) a Christmas card to commemorate the loved one. My family and I do that every year for my grandparents. Maybe there's something similar in your area. Or a donation to a charity that your parent would have given to.
Taking a bunch of flowers with a Christmas gift tag attached to the garden of remembrance or the cemetery may also be an option. Florists do these if a regular gift tag isn't suitable.
We have a friend who takes a holy wreath and places it on a relatives grave at this time of year. That's they're way of remembering.
There are blank Christmas cards out there I'm sure - I think M&S may do them. That would allow you to write your own message.
If funds allow, you sometimes see notices in the paper from people in lieu of sending cards, which may be another option.
