My DD1, who will be 4 in Sept, has gone from a child with a full, advance, vocabulary to regulalry talking like a baby. For example, instead of saying 'Ouch Mammy, my dinner is really hot' she will say 'dinner hot'.
DD2 joined us in January, but being only 5 months, is not talking yet so not sure where she is getting it from.
Is this a normal phase or a reaction to the birth of DD2?? She is starting nursery in September and I really don't want her to talk this way then.
Should I ignore it or chastise her (like I have been doing so far)
