NLP for kids -- your opinions?

Recently discovered that someone in my family is into using neuro-linguistic programming on her kids. I know nothing about NLP, but my (rather cursory) Internet search made me worry a bit. Anyone out there want to tell me the positives (or negatives) of NLP for kids? Should I worry (for her kids)? She's not the most stable person, and I've had concerns over her parenting before.

we used an NLP practitioner for hynotherapy for ds1. (she was a friend of the family - has a psychology degree).

i don't think nlp is particularly quackish tbh. (hynotherapy is though lol)

we're not very woo at all, but the friend said she would love to try and help ds1, so we gave it a go. we were amazed by the results tbh, but they weren't long-lasting. we're looking for someone to do a course of sessions with him now - we moved o'seas a week or so after the session.

(ds1 has persistent daytime and nightime enuresis and encopresis/ soiling btw)

nlp itself is just common sense tbh. it's just been given a fancy name and an opportunity to get certified of late...
