Sorry if this is long.........
I wonder if you have any ideas? My grandson is 8 months old but he is not eating solids very well. He will eat the stage 1 jars, if he likes them, he loves baby rice. My daughter adds all sorts to the rice i.e. strawberries, blueberries, cheese and so on. However, he usually enjoys it plain. She has tried most of her home cooking too.
If he is handed anything solid, apples, peppers, bananas, toast, bagels, oh the list goes on and on, he pulls his face (its comical really, she doesn't react to it though). Eventually he may possibly try it, but usually it doesn't get to his mouth. He quite likes the baby organic rice cakes and will eat Little Stars Fromage Frais or similar. She has changed his day time milk to the follow on so he's not as full - its worked a little better.
He is very advanced (I know everyone thinks the same but its true in this case) he's been crawling for about 2.5 months, can walk holding onto the furniture, stand un aided and today climbed my first stair! He looks very healthy, skin lovely and weight wise looks fine.
