Dribbling

When do babies stop dribbling? It's driving me insane. My 2 are just over a year and one of them seemed to stop for about a week, but then restarted with a vengeance (though I think he has more teeth coming through). All their bibs are foul (even after a soak and a wash with Vanish). Do I buy more or we nearly done with them?

On the other hand things must be going pretty well for this to be my major concern at the moment

Bipistuff bibs are fantastic!! They soak loads, don't get wet on the back and wash really well!! I had two non dribblers and then one monster dribbler - I have no idea how long it will go on for but it has slowed down!!

My DS was a big dribbler. I think he got better/stopped at around 15mths. He's 3 now and has just started dribbling loads again!! I have no clue why and it looks a little wrong on a 3 year old. Any one know whats going on? Sorry to hijack.

I had a dribbler until I give him a straw it helped develop his muscles.I had googled for ideas as he was really bad before that and ruined all his tops.

bumbums. Has your LO had recent throat, ear infections/colds? Sometimes their tonsills and adenoids get enlarged causing a slight obstruction to swallowing and littluns can be too lazy to force saliva past these enormous tonsils, so they dribble!
Just a thought!!
