Was thinking of getting some aquadraw thingys for DD2 birthday but can't remember when children start scribbling - is it 18 months-ish?

DD3 is 13 months and will have a good go now, so yes, 18 months is fine.

DD1 got her aquadraw at 14mnths.... she spent a lot of time sucking the water out of the pen but it did her no harm!

My daughter started getting involved in "crafty" things, such as sticking, glittering, smearing paint around from when she started nursery at 9 months.

She is 17 months old and simply loves scribbling and pretending to take notes.

I've got her some sugar paper and crayons, and even got her a Tesco Value colouring book for about 40 p. She's of course not very good at colouring in, but that dioesn't mater as long as she enjoys it.

1+ will definitely be fine for it
i think when they are approaching a year you can give it a go
