Big Trampoline for a 3yr old...am I being silly??!

Hi

Can anyone help on this one.

I have been thinking of getting a big trampoline for DD1 who is nearly 3 1/2yrs old. She is really big/tall for her age (in 4-5 yrs clothes) and extremely energetic to say the least and is no longer interested in the small, baby trampoline that we have.

Due to the fact that I have seen one half price! and also and most importantly I think she would enjoy using it, I note that states for children over 6 yrs.

Am I okay to get this just now...or wait a while?

Many thanks.

I would get it, we got one when my DD was 3.5 and she has been fine.
We are pretty strict at 1 person at a time on the trampoline. I think most accidents occur when children are bouncing together and they bang heads.

my nearly 3 year old loves our trampoline.

the trampoline will come with a list of things you shouldn't do like be under 6, you also shouldn't bounce or have any fun in them, or have your friends in or infact anything.

we had ours when DD was 3yo and DS 5yo.

as long as you supervise her and have one-at-a-time rule imo she will love it

i know they cause alot of accidents, but it is one of my DCs favourite things!

We got a 10ft one for DS 2nd birthday (I took a lot of persuading) he loves it and will play on it most days. He is safe in the enclosure and I can watch hm from the kitchen while washing up etc which makes life easier for both of us!

Not silly at all. DD (a) started trampolining lessons at that age and (b) was a complete liability on a baby trampoline (those things are dangerous once kids can seriously BOUNCE).

Make sure it'll take an adult's weight, some of the smaller 'big' trampolines have quite low weight limits, how frustrating would that be?!

I am getting one for my 5 yr old and I am sure my 2.5 yr old will play on it too.

Which one are you going to get?

Thank you everyone! I'm quite excited now

Seen one on tesco direct 8ft trampoline and enclosure for £90...had a look at other shops/sites and seems like a good buy. (I think... )
