Agree with misdee get him to repair his damage and also ban him from anything like coke etc over weekend?????????

correct me if i am wrong, but doesnt your ds have ADHD? or is that someone else that does?

get a pot of reqady mixed filler, get him to fill the holes, sand back, and then repaint the hall. (if he is old enough that is) if he isnt old enough to do the work himself does he have savings that you can use so that he pays for the damaged he caused.

Get some filler for the holes and keep him in over the weekend filling and repairing them. I'd make him pay for the cost of the filler and paint for the walls, too.

yes, with some guidance. i think at 7 he will have to 'learn; that actions like these have consequences. once he repairs the damage then he can have his treat.

Can you remove a favourite toy for a specified time?

Whenever he wants it remind him it's removed because of hIS actions.

My children would think that doing your own repairs to holes in the wall would be good fun. What about your ds? You don't want him deciding that the whole house could do with a bit more DIY ...
