ADHD child keeps hitting/stabbing my DS

I know what ADHD stands for but not sure how to handle this situation we seem to have at the school.
DS(8) has been kicked in his privates, stomach, stabbed with a pencil several times and had his bare foot stamped on whilst the other child has his shoes on.

How should we be dealing with this child or more importantly how can we stop this happening to my DS.

I have stated the obvious by telling him to keep away, but this child seeks to do his deeds when the teacher isnt looking and marvellously for him nor is any other child to witness it. My DS wont tell as he says that his teacher will take his golden time away.

Any tips?

i would speak to his teacher or maybe phone the school if you dont want ds to know you have spoken out about it,

My ds has ADHD and if he was to be doing this sorts of thing to others i would hope for the teacher to take action to prevent it and inform me of whats going on.

It is the school's responsibility to keep your ds safe, so they need to work out a strategy and your ds will need to be reassured that by telling the teacher he is doing the best for everybody concerned. Try putting it to your ds that it would be very sad for the other boy if he ended up seriously hurting someone.

AS a teacher I say talk to school.

It may be that the teacher is aware of this childs issues and (in my experience) knows this child has aggressive tendencies and is already on some sort of plan. Or they may be aware this child will escalate quickly if they deal with something that the teacher didn't see. Often you tend to pick your battles carefully with ADHD children as they can be quite volatile.

The school will care tho and will do/ already be doing something about it.
