What has been your favourite tamtrum?

We all know that rationality doesn't feature high on the list of Toddler Traits. Following on from Lou33s Longest Tantrum thread, what has been your favourite reason for a toddler tantrum?

Mine is when DS1 (2) wanted to carry newborn DS2 in his 1st stage carseat. He simply couldn't grasp that he was physically incapable of picking something that heavy up even though I let him try. Ah, the poor little mite cried for a good 10 minutes over that one

My favourite tantrum was when my two year old dd wanted the Scissor Sisters on the stereo for about the tenth time in a row, when i refused she began to have a huge tantrum shouting "I want the Scissor sisters on, scissor sisters, scissor sisters!" My friend was round and was impressed at her musical tastes.

Ds aged about 2: "GET ME THE MOON DOWN RIGHT NOW, I WANT TO EAT IT, GIVE IT TO ME RIGHT NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!"

This thread is absolutely hilarious! Thanks for reviving it.

Not so much a tantrum, but ds was distraught to find that although his fingers were twinkling and his nose was wrinkling, he didn't have a top knot to be twitching!! I can still hear him sobbing "X doesn't have a top knot, just a normal head".

edodgy..my dd insists on the Scissor Sisters when we are having a mad freak out dance-nothing else will do.

She was angry this mornig because she couldn't see the sun....very angry indeed. Kept bellowing
'Where is it?????' (and crying!)
