Daytime wetting - regressing fast!

Hello,
Still finding my feet here on Mumsnet!
I'd be grateful for any advice regarding daytime toilet training. My daughter is 3.5 and was 'successfully' toilet trained by the time she was 3, albeit with the occasional accident. Over the past few weeks she has regressed fast. It started with 2 or 3 accidents almost every (half-) day at nursery, but no accidents at home. I put this down to the fact that she becomes engrossed in the activities/play with other kids and 'forgets' to go. She also likes getting changed into different clothes! This weekend she has had accidents constantly (wees and poos) while at home, even though I have been sitting her on the loo every hour or so.
It has always been the case that if asked if she needs to go, my daughter will always say no, even if she's crossing her legs and obviously does need to. I always take her to the loo anyway and she has no trouble going, but this weekend she's had full-blown tantrums each time I've taken her. There seems to be nothing physically wrong with her and I think it may be a behavioral thing - she keeps running in to tell me she's wet herself again, with a (very irritating) grin on her face. I wonder if it's some sort of attention seeking ploy as it only happens when we leave her alone for 5 minutes. She's an only child and gets oodles of attention from myself and my husband, but obviously we can't play with her all the time

No advice I'm afraid but we are going through the exact same thing with our DD who has just turned 3. We've been to the GP who ruled out a UTI.

Hoping someone can come along with a suggestion but in the meantime you are not alone.
