This may be a very stupid question, but.........

Can a bang to the head really change behaviour??
DD (4.7) has anger problems, which we have a meeting arranged for this monday. 2 weeks ago she and her older brother had a sledging accident and crashed into a chicken wire type fence. However, there was evidently some barbed wire on the fence and she suffered a bad cut that needed an operation and stiches. Shes fine.
However, we've noticed that whilst the accident seems to have had little effect on her gerneral...bouncy...attitude to life, her anger issues seem to have ceased. She has literally never gone this long (2 weeks) without a major blow-up in her life! So, can a head injury really 'knock some sense into her'??
Or is it just coincidental!!

No idea, I'd be interested in any answers you get from your anger consultation. My dd has great resovoirs of anger that she regularly draws upon. She is skiing on Saturday and Sundays at the moment, but always wears a helmet. Pondering the idea of leaving it off.
Not really by the way.

Maybe her anger was just a phase she was going through - frustration/control issues?
