dd2 is 15 weeks old
up until recently she has been a fairly chilled out little thing, the odd loud evening but not more than once a week
just recently she has yelled all evening every evening until gone midnight
doing hungry cues but won't feed
doesn't want to be held, doesn't want to be put down
when she finally goes to sleep she's totally zonked, will sleep for a good 12 hours, semi-waking two or three times for a dreamy feed
so she sleeps all morning barring feeds
she is awake and alert after lunchtime, feeding every couple of hours or so, with perhaps the odd nap of no more than 15 minutes unless we go out in which case she'll sleep in her pram/car seat
then early evening comes and the squawking starts
am knackered, i don't get to bed until gone midnight then up early with dd1 with intermittent wakings in the night
i think maybe she gets overtired
or perhaps i need to somehow adjust her body clock so she doesn't sleep all morning
i have never been a fan of routines for small babies but would it help if i implemeted one? she does have one that she's set herself (see above) but it doesn't fit in with the rest of the household. dd1 is at school so we are bound by school run times and dd1 needing to sleep at night even if the rest of us can't
any ideas?
