Layers of bedding for 2 week old?

Hi, would appreciate any advice on this.. my DS is almost 2 weeks and has been sleeping extremely well since birth and feeds brilliantly, but the last couple of times I've woken him he has been sweaty - damp babygro and swaddle sheet, and a little damp on the mattress sheet.

We keep the bedroom under 22 degrees but from what I've read here, it should be lower than that, so will try to keep to 20 or less, but would like to know what most Mums use for bedding - Jay is wearing a cotton sleepsuit without vest, is swaddled in a mothercare flannelette moses sheet then has another of the same sheets as a top layer to keep him secure. Would a cotton cellular blanket as top layer be better? Without the top layer he will move around, so would prefer to have something over him if possible, but obviously am scared about overheating.. sorry for rambling !

If he is swaddled, I would probably suggest going for a long sleeved bodysuit rather than the sleepsuit and definitely get the temp in the room down.

Is he in a Moses absket or a crib?

He is in a thin cotton babygro - I think I got mixed up with sleepsuits/bodysuits. He's in a moses basket, but it is quite a big one (or he is so small!) he only takes up half of it (he is just under 7lbs).

is his basket near a radiator or windw at all.becasue that can make them a bit sweaty as well.

about half a metre away from both. I am going to make sure the radiator is only on low from now on (and off completely at night.)The room does get warm so I am keeping the window open a bit.
