Is this a common occurrence?

Does it mean anything in regards to the way his teeth will be (NB I had HORRIFIC teeth as a child so am neurotic about this - lots of teasing before they were fix)

Really what i am asking here is do I need to start saving of orthodontic work?

my dds was like that, but now they are perfectly straight (literally within a few months). We could def see 2 teeth one in front of the other - but once the baby one fell out the other magically moved into place. They seem to sort themselves out!

Her front baby ones seemed to move to the side, then fell out leaving a big gap for the new ones. V clever.

This happened to me when I was a child. In fact, the big teeth grew up and in some cases the baby teeth didn't even get wobbly. I had to have two baby teeth removed. I have lovely teeth now though and have never had to have any work done on my grown-up teeth.

Don't panic!

OK so I'll hold off the panic!! I do get a little worried (even before the second teeth showed signs of coming through) because it made such a difference to me having orthodontic work and where I live now it cost big bucks get braces

Mind you I don't know why I'm stressing my teeth were aswful because of an accident

same thing has happened with my dd, both adult teeth growing behind the wobbly ones

the dentist has said it's fine and the new teeth will move when the old ones are out
