How old is he?

Lonelymum · 12/06/2005 15:39

A bit off the point but has his poo returned to normal yet? I asked a few times on your original thread but you didn't see it.

Re today, could he be teething?

charleepeters · 12/06/2005 15:39

9 months

If you think it is teeth, then give him some Calpol (or equivalent) and that should make the difference.

charleepeters · 12/06/2005 15:40

a bit lonley mum it is getting better, i dont think hes teething he has no teeth or any symptoms

OP posts:
charleepeters · 12/06/2005 15:40

he doesnt seem in pain hes just so clingy and whingy

OP posts:
Lonelymum · 12/06/2005 15:42

They can have the pain before the teeth show. he is just the right age for getting teeth. But if you think it isn't that.....

kcemum · 12/06/2005 15:42

Don't always get obvious symptoms when they teeth.

Is he coming down with something, has he had a temperatre, been pulling at his ears etc?

charleepeters · 12/06/2005 15:43

he shoed signs of teething about 3 weeks ago, but nothing came, no signs of it now though

OP posts:
charleepeters · 12/06/2005 15:43

no signs of anything!!!

OP posts:
Lonelymum · 12/06/2005 15:44

That makes it even more likely to be teething. The pain can come and go for weeks before the tooth appears and the description of a clingy, whingy baby is just right too.

kcemum · 12/06/2005 15:45

they can sometimes take a while to come thru' when the teeth first start moving.
I echo what lonelymum says give calpol and see if he settles.

charleepeters · 12/06/2005 15:46

ok will try it ta x

OP posts:
Lonelymum · 12/06/2005 15:51

Come back though if that doesn't work!

charleepeters · 12/06/2005 15:51

just checked he has a slight temp

OP posts:
Lonelymum · 12/06/2005 15:52

Oh dear. Is he eating and drinking?

charleepeters · 12/06/2005 15:52

yep

OP posts:
Lonelymum · 12/06/2005 15:58

Not too bad then. You could try the Calpol to see if that helps with the temperature. Or is he just hot because he is in a state?

Aren't babies a worry?

nell12 · 12/06/2005 17:14

It could be separation anxiety; this happens about this age when they realise that they and Mummy are not one and the same. If it is that, it is just a stage that they go through. A bloomin annoying one, but just a stage! Sorry, this isn't much help, but it's an idea! Mine has just done the same!

charleepeters · 12/06/2005 18:20
