amusing words from lo's

my DD 2.4y says choook instead of thank you, hehe find quite amusing. she is now capable of saying thank you but is on the habit of saying choook now.

my DS used to call me bubby instead of mummy from a year old until he went to playschool. lol

We still call breakfast 'brescut' in our house as that is what ds used to say when he was little (he's now 5 and corrects us!).

He also used to call Father Christmas 'Farmer Christmas' which since we used to live on a farm made sense to him!!

Spet for unlock the car seat.

Shebel is an egg cup
Foggy poo is diaroeh (sp)

mince for mint can't face telling him because it's so cute... 'mammy do you want a mince'

Father Christmas is Kimiss
Bottom is Bopton
Happyland for some reason is Lallyland

I have to try really hard not to use them too cause they're so cute

Aww my DD used to make us laugh so much, can't think of all of them but some that she used to say are:

Washershime - washing machine
Breakfud - breakfast
stinks - poo!
sketty - spaghetti

she still says breakfud and stinks! We have yet to hear her say she needs a poo" its always "i need to do stinks"

Sunscream -- someone didn't like it

Santa claus - Santas clothes

Windscreen wipers - window screamers

CHimney - chimbley

Conservatory - consertary

Wish had written them all down from birth

My eldest child's name is Jonathan. Ds2 calls him Wonnan, although he is 3.5and can say 'Jonathan'.

They were playing with pens and paper earlier, and ds1was sounding words out to spell them. So ds2 put pen to paper, and carefully sounded out "Woh - Nan!" whilst scrawling '0o0xx011ox0ox0' across the paper....

Snuffs= nostrils

My ds (2.6) calls the microwave a milkrowave (we warm his milk up in it)

There were many more along the way, but those have stuck for all of us!

Ds1 likes to eat Bash Browns with his fried eggs.

ds is fond of crapri sun drinks.

DD2 is Alexandra, but we call her Allie. When we started to explain longer names to DD1 (4) she called DD2 Allie-andra. Sadly she can say Alexandra properly now.

My DB couldn't say 'vanilla' when he was little. He'd say 'um, navilla, lavinna, um, valinna..... um, white one please!'

DH is 27 and still calls his dsis Flobble which is nowt like her real name. Only family members call her that since BIL mispronounced it as a toddler. The day she said 'call me Flobble' was a seminal moment in my acceptance into the family. I was less excited when BIL announced 'call me spam'.

DD is past mixing up words but we still have a washmeen (washing machine), a toy evverlunt (elephant) and many things in the colour leelow. The doctor also does a good line in medsuns.

DS (2.4) calls me Mummy Pig. I try to tell myself that it's becauae I'm such a lovely Mummy like Peppa Pig's (he adores that programme) but to be more realistic, it's bound to be down to my HUGE baby bump and ever expanding arse
