How would you punish this behaviour?

From a 7 year old year 2 boy who should know better:

  • Calling a parent helper fat (I am to even admit this)

  • Saying innapropraite words at school very loudly (such as GAY/Lesbian/Sexy etc)

  • Hurting other kids at playtime - not randomly, just most playtimes there is always an issue of some sort and ds always seems to be in the midst of it and someone is always in tears because he hurt them.

Now ds is a tough cookie and often says he was hurt first, but I know he never cries, will never tell tales, so he simply thumps them back.

There are other issues such as not listening/answering back but these are the worst - am at my wits end

He is in his room now, because his teacher told me all this today and I can't bear to look at him.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Does he do any after school activities that could be banned for a week / 2 weeks?
I know this would upset my DS who is also 7.
I once stopped DS from going to a birthday party, he was not happy but still remembers it and knows it is not an empty threat if I bring it up.
