My ds diddn't go to a nursrey untill he was 4 (sept 5th birthday). He went 2.5 hours a day untill he started school in sept. I wouldnt say that he diddn't have friends before this but I diddn'y know many mums with children so he diddn't over socialise. I don't think it affected him atall - he is one of the most friendly and careing child I know to his friends (shame he is not the same at home!!!!!!!)

Yes the full time thing wears me down too, big style some days. Personally, having waited for 3 years for him, i dont want to hand him over to some one else.
I just have never felt comfortable with it. we do stuff together thats all.
