When does excessive tiredness become concerning?

DD 9.5 MO has in the last 24 hours become extremely tired and sleepy constantly. She normally has approx 1-2hrs nap mid morning and 30 mins in the afternoon.

Today she has had 90mins mid morning, 45 in car, 40 in pushchair at my brothers house (I put her in it in the hallway as she was nodding off on my lap - she NEVER does this), then 30 mins on my lap about an hour later (again she never sleeps on my lap), then 40 mins in car, and now shes gone down and we havent heard a peep out of her.

I would normally put it down to a growth spurt but should I be concerned? She is also teething and has refused spoonfeeding so I have tried my best to give her plenty of fingerfood, but she gets very upset very quickly and has barely touched solids for a few days but she will take milk. She has had a lowgrade fever today - head felt warm to touch - poo's are a bit runny and loose - but is is having loads of milk and little solids.

Shes normally REALLY lively jibbering, shouting, giggling, crawling everywhere, and is generally never still but today she sat on my lap and rested her head on my shoulder ALL day. I tried putting her down twice and she burst into tears.

Is this just a combination of teething/growthspurt/detachment anxiety? or does it sound like soemthing else to you?

She's been getting over a cough for a while but I havent been concerned as it has been very slowly improving.

How long should I leave this til I speak to a Dr? I hate seeing her so lifeless

How is she now? I would def take her to a doctor? She is probably trying to fight an infection or something but just to check her out. Hopefully she has woken full of beans

Shes done exactly that! She slept through again and I went in this morning armed with the phone ready to call the Dr's and she's FULL of beans, squaking and shouting and wriggling, so I'm thinking yesterday was her fighting something off, but I'll keep a close eye today.

bring on the chaos!

cheers umlellala!
