Moany baby

My almost 7 month old boy gets very moany and whiney if we leave the house for longer than 30 or so minutes.
He is normally a very happy chappy but whenevere we leave the house - especiually for dog walks he gets all groany.
I have tried different times of the day, before naps, after naps, before milk, after, half way through, lots of toys, even some music, facing me facing away, 2 different types of pushchairs. I have tried taking him out when we get to the park and having a play but nothing seems to help.
As soon as we get home everything is fine again.
This has been going on for months now and I am at my wits end.
It makes all outings so stressful.

I cant not go out and I think he needs to be taught that we will be going out and he has to make the most of it.
Has anyone else experienced this? Did the baby grwo out of it?
any tips?

Thanks

Maybe he's just tired or overstimuled after 30 minutes. There's a alot going on for a 7 month old to take in so maybe try and shut him off from the stimulus when he starts to get moany. Hood of the buggy down etc. I used to place a blanket over the hood so he couldn't see any stimulus at all. He then relaxed and most of the time fell asleep after a short while. He is probably moaning for a reason so it's best not to totally ignor it. As long as you've offered him water and checked his nappy. Hope it helps...

When you say moany, do you mean really unhappy noises?
My DGS often used to make a whiney type noise when out in his pushchair, like a tuneless hum, around about 9 or 10 months. It seemed as if he was complaining, but, actually I think it was almost like singing to the rhythm of the pushchair movement.
Could it be this sort of thing?

I have tried pulling the hood of the buggy down, and his nappy is fine. NO it isnt a sing songy whine.

I feel like I cant take him to the park to walk the dogs anymore ....

Tried him in a sling? Give him a toy when he is in pushchair? I have a 7mth old too and I think i forgot that a) they get bored and b) they needinteraction/cuddles after a while. Mine is fine if out (usually in sling) but does the whingy thing if at home on floor too long (fun as we have been housebound with chicken pox ).

I'm finding this stage hard work tbh (have a 2.10yo too). But in the words of mumsnet, IT WILL PASS! weary
