DS2 is 4.6. Recently he has started putting things over his head - eg toy buckets and toy bags. Initially I was scared and told him how dangerous it was to do that, in a 'cross' voice. When he kept doing it I tried a more gentle 'explaining' things gentle voice, but still retaining the seriousness about putting things on his head.
Neither approach has worked. Tonight I found him struggling to put his peppa pig bag over his head. I snapped at him, reminding him how dangerous it was etc etc and telling him a bit more about breathing and air, and he just said 'well I want to see what it feels like'.
That has worried me. He is 4.6 ffs - I cannot have him trying out things so dangerous as this just to 'see what it feels like'. PLEASE tell me what to say to him... (He had developmental delay - couldnt make sounds til he was 3 due to a tumour in his throat, and thus was a late speaker, but is catching up fast and is even learning to read, but he is still not as emotionally developed as others in his reception class.)
TIA
