We haven't had any problems with biting but have noticed DS going to do it on a few occasions over the weekend, espeacilly when being taken away from the plug sockets, sky buttons tumble dryer etc (his favourite, the sky and tumble dryer thing drives me mad! on off on off)).

He is really teething but I'm worried this ma turn into something??

How did you "really tell off?"

ds bites when he's teething. Not in an aggressive way, just a sort of "I fancy chewing something and your arm will do" kind of way. He gets removed and told that we don't bite, and made to apologise (snotty kiss, usually).

Its a really stern, loud don't you dare, at the same time a hug to the bitten dc,
If dd tried to bite me put finger under chin and again a don't you dare,
I found my dd knew it was wrong because she looked shocked she was getting told off, and at 15 months your not really telling them off for anything else

Thanks thats really helpful.....I am terrible for laughing when telling off, its just the face he makes at me.......he mustn't do it though and he needs to learn.

i would say ignore it, telling them off only gives them attention. They quickly learn any old attention is better than none. Distract and ignore

My 14 month old DD tried to bite me a few times the other day, not to be aggressive it just happened while we were playing. I just ignored it and made sure I wasnt in biting distance for a few minutes! She hasnt done it since, agree with pureperple if you make an issue out of it they will think its a game and do it again.
