Hi there,

Just curious really.... when do you take them out of vests with poppers?

Lots of my friends have already done this, but I find them really convenient.

DS is just over a year.

thanks

Mine had vests with poppers until they were potty trained so in my case a bit after 2 (DS) and a bit before 2 (DD)

mine were still in poppered vests until out of nappies - so 2.5. My DT's are skinny so proper vests don't stay tucked in - not an issue for a 4 yo, but pretty breezy for a 1 - 2yo....

My DD was about 18 months. No other reason than I didn't like to see her nappy sticking out of her trousers when she bent over!!

My DD stayed in vests until she was out of nappies. She was 2.9 IIRC.

I took my DD out of poppered vests at 2 and swapped to normal vests and nappies. She came out of nappies and into knickers at 2.6

If you find them convenient then stick with it until potty training. I found them an absolute NIGHTMARE as both my DDs were complete and utter wrigglers, I could hardly keep them still to change a nappy let alone get 3 poppers poppered up afterwards - so I gave up on poppered vests not long after they started walking and would start trying to run off immediately after I'd got the nappy on (around 11 months).

Thanks everyone. I'll stick with them for now I too think they keep them looking tidy and their backs nice and warm.
