Can I ask an annoying "is this advanced/weird?" question too please? - stacking pots!

My ds is nearly 13 months and has a pots for stacking (10 of them and they stack up to taller than him).

He started walking a few weeks ago but he was really steady on his feet for ages before that. For at least the past 2 months he's been able to stack them all up and then he neatly stacks them back into each other again (no knocking down the tower, he likes things neat and tidy!)

He's generally quite keen on stacking and organising things - he will break into cupboards to put things away.

Now his dad and I are extremely messy and disorganised so is this just a random trait, is he advanced, weird or just going through a phase??

it's normal

dd varies from ultra tidy to ultra messy. her blocks are always stacked and knocked flying with a big belly laugh. but if she spots anything on the floor like a crumb she picks it up and brings it to me saying yack. and when she spills her milk she asks for an atchoo which means tissue to wipe up.

Hehe, thanks for your answers... it's just in real life everyone thinks I have a peculiar/extraordinary little boy because of the way he seems to like organising things (he enjoys sorting books in our book case, spices in our spice cupboard etc.) and I thought I'd scope out if anyone else's child shared his type of personality!

my DS was very keen on towers too and still is - although now he is 2.5 he LOVES knocking them down

It would seem he has an ordering schema ... a stage in his development where he makes sense of things by putting them in order.
