Seriously, he's droolign pints and is a bit grumpy. (Also has a cold.)

I would have thought it was a bit early for teething, am I wrong?

pagwatch · 04/12/2008 15:34

my neice was born with 2 teeth....

mistlethrush · 04/12/2008 15:35

Ds started at 3mo but didn't get his first tooth until 6mo

Oh dear god - he's bitey enough with just gums, if he's getting teeth I fear for my nips...

Debating giving him a bit of calpol but didn't want to do it on the grounds of him just being a bit grouchy!

Yes he can. Mine started at 12 weeks but it was quite a few more weeks before they came through. Get some gauze, it is wonderful stuff!

bohemianbint · 04/12/2008 18:05

Gauze? What dya do with it - does it stop the biting?

No, you wrap it round your finger and then rub gently on baby's gums. Helps toughen them up so it hurts less when the tooth cuts through. It's all about the baby!

He could be. boy sprang 2 at 16 or 17 weeks after several weeks of that type of behaviour.

ds is 11 weeks tomorrow. he's been doing the same thing! drooling yesterday and was just a constant little grouch. is it really possible?
