Would really appreciate any views on this. DS is 19 months and does some really odd things. Most of his development has been pretty normal so far, but I have had niggling worries about him for a while.
He does not always respond immediately to his name, especially when engrossed in something, eg TV, bricks etc.
When he was younger he seemed obsessed with traffic lights, and would kind of hiss at them when we stopped at them. He doesn't do this any more though, but he still hisses at the washing machine. I wondered if it was imitating the noise? But it still seems odd.
He sort of walks like a crab sometimes but with his head on the floor, like he's doing a walking headstand iyswim. He seems to like the sensation.
He was quite late to do things like point and wave, though started talking early-ish, about 13 months. He does 'sharing' things like pointing out things of interest, giving me things, checking my response etc.
But it's the head-walking thing that seems most bizarre. Am I being neurotic or do these things sound a bit strange?
Have name-changed btw!
