Around about what age d boys stop being little bundles of energy???

Its only early on a Saturday morning and I am already ready for bed!! Both ds's woke up and started hurtling about like Tasmanian Devils. I love the fact they are so energetic - just would be great when they are just a little calmer!

that's when they (and girls too) grumble & squirm further down under the duvet when it's time to get up. It's also the time when they can read well enough for a book to be an appealing alternative to a crash-about

Hmmm. DS2 is 12 tomorrow and he can still be a whirling dervish.

ds1 is nearly seven and was up at 6.30am a even dressed by 8am!!!
what on hearth was he expecting from me at thet time I don't know!!! I found that taking them to swim, footballand any other activities does make them calmer in the weekend!!!it a never end!! I know how you feel!!

I really don't want to wish theri little lives away - they are so much fun at this age BUT it would be great to have to odd lie in without coming downsatirs to total destruction AND on top of their energy is that they eat like mad. They eat more than me most of the time still whipper snappers though

My Ds is a huge eater too and as skinny as a French bean. He's pretty good though as I have the house alarm on so he can't get into the lounge. He gets his breakfast and usually just plays games or watches videos in his bedroom until I'm ready. He does though sometimes bug me silly to get into the lounge .

Aged 9 for both of mine.
Boys are much easier than girls in my totally biased opinion. What you see is what you get and when they are little it's all physically hard work.
But around 8 or 9 they calm down a bit, just about the age that girls start to become much more tricky and stroppy.
Just my observation based on converations with mums of boys v mums of girls, always exceptions of course.

DS1 hasn't calmed down yet and he was 10 in August.
DS2, just gone into Y3, is a physically lazy child and has always been much calmer; DH found him this morning at 5.30 reading about hedgehogs in his DK Animal Encyclopaedia.

erm....well my 17 year old can still end up being yelled at for hurtling around!

don't know.. but can't wait! I have a 5 year old boy and a 20month old boy!! they sure are BUSY! ;)

I have two boys also, aged 21 months and 6they are full of energy and PIZZ ZAZZ all day long!
