I'm not set on co-sleeping. I did on and off with my older 2 but haven't decided whether I want to try seperate beds this time.

But my mum bought me this for baby when shes downstairs in the evening, maybe in her cot... but I was thinking it would be good to use whilst she is tiny for in the bed. It will be ot, this thing with DD in then me and DH.

this here, ive got the pink one which is on sale at £10 cheaper

Excuse me !!

This is a public forum where people are free to post and talk about what they like. You don't 'own' a particular thread just because you started it. No one has had a go at you about anything nor have they suggested you should bfeed, a discussion simply evolved out of your initial post.

You're being very defensive enchanted - people aren't criticising you - just having a chat!

actually, you did mention breastfeeding. a coupel of people said it wouldn't be very easy to use if you were BF, and you said you might not. someone then pointed out that in fact, co-sleeping is not as safe for bottle feeding mums, so you might not want to buy something like that.
the conversation then naturally evolved.

Personally I can't imagine having enough room for that thing in my bed. a standard double has got just enough room for 2 pillows side by side, and with that in the middle my poillow would be hanging off.
so, I wouldn't use it.

you'd be better off, IMO, with a bedside crib

i used it with ds1 and it saved our lives/sanity. the only criticism is that he grew out of it quickly (by about 12 months).
