Open the kitchen cupboard and take out some chocolate and eat it (without having to stick your head in the cupboard to eat it secretively)

go out of the house without bucketloads of snacks/drinks/toys

do something without a small person clinging to your leg/having tantrum in the street shouting NO

being able to pick them up and cart them off without giving yourself a hernia

nailpolish · 22/09/2008 11:54

you can get away with stuff
when dh comes home from work and says "what have you been up to today?"
you can say "oh ive done a ton of housework then played all day at jigsaws and educational stuff"
without small child piping up "no mummy you sat and read a big magazine all day in front of jeremy kyle"

EffiePerine · 22/09/2008 11:55

Mercy · 22/09/2008 11:55

claireybee · 22/09/2008 11:55

Go out for the day without constant "I want an ice cream, I want to go on the train/bouncy castle/swings/donkey, I want an upsey daisy kite etc etc"

nailpolish · 22/09/2008 11:55

or bitch about people to your dh
"god that woman is a cow"
without small child saying "muumy says youre a cow"

LittleOneMum · 22/09/2008 11:56

Kathyis6incheshigh · 22/09/2008 12:03

leave your razor by the bath instead of on a high high shelf

moan about your weight without worrying about giving someone an eating disorder

maltloafeater · 22/09/2008 12:03
