If its just a new habit she will probably grow out of it. My DS1 had lots of very strange habits, and they have all passed. You could always do babysigning with her. One is a really good age to start. I found it a very interesting insight into how much they were thinking about at that age. Very eye-opening.

Mine had that too and it passed after a few months! But the GP did say that sometimes it could be a sign of poor vision (i.e. they are leaning their head to one side to help them focus)

DD2 (nearly 2) does this ALL the time when told No, or told something she doesnt want to hear, or when she's having a strop, basically!

Normally with a bottom lip she could trip over

I wouldn't worry!

Hiya Knickers!!! My ds does this too, when I've said NO! I used to worry he had something wrong with his neck or ear, i even took him to the Dr's about 2 months ago when he first started it. Everything was fine. I think it's just a habbit, the same as him obsessively shaking his head when he was about 7 months old! (Wierdo!) He grew out of the head shaking so I'm hoping this will pass too.

Knickers

DD2 looks at the floor when you say no. It just a phase.
