As an interesting aside, karma does seem to work - we notice it particularly with ds1. Quite often, when he has done something horrid, something will happen to him. Similarly, when he is kind, something good will happen to him.
I do point it out to him when I notice it.

TooTicky, yes, I think it is anger actually.

She seem to get into a mindset where everyhting is wrong, and it takes her a while ot get back to "normal" temperamnet.

We do try sand do the money hting - she gets £1 a week, and loses 10p when she is unkind/violent to dd2, or rude to us. Sometimes it does seem to have an effect.

Like 2 weeks ago, dh and I sat down and decided we would really overemphasis when she is noice to dd2. So everytime she didn't hurt her, we praise dher up. But it just seemed that whenever my back was turned and dd2 did somehting that she didn't like, then she whacked her again.

I wasn't ever agressive to my younger sister, though she was quite punchy towards me!!

The karma thing is interesting.
Dd1 is rather clumsy/heavy footed. Sometimes when she is really cross, she'll march off, then trip over - maybe I could introduce the karma logic there .

No worries Glen32.
