Anyone else had their 3.5 year old suddenly turned into a screaming, ignorant, demanding, sulky child? We've had some bad phases but the last couple of weeks have been next level, and she's never actually been difficult to like before. . . . She had mini tantrums from 22 months but nothing problematic. She upped her tantrum game again at 3, but still manageable and likeable. But she's spent maybe 2 weeks now just being awful, particularly to me but I spend more time with her than my husband so she's got way more time to behave that way with me. She demands instead of asking and saying please (obviously I then get her to ask and say please), she goes straight to screaming when she wants a paticularly toy located (obviously we tell her we use talking in this house), she keeps suddenly for no reason getting a sulky face and refusing to speak to me, only answering in squeaks or growls, asks me to play with her and then immediately gets moody with me. . . . I get that we have to keep reinforcing boundaries, and use consequences where necessary, so I'm not looking for advice on how to deal with this, I'm really just looking for someone to tell me this is developmentally normal and will pass provided we are consistent and hold fast. No, nothing significant has changed, no new siblings or house moves or whatever. I just don't want to be around her at present which sucks because I love her.

Is she in Nursery @teaandkittehsand if so, have they noticed any changes?

Yes she is and they have noticed her being more emotional.
