I would like to add that although ds doesn;t have any teeth or any sign of them - bumps, redness etc. as soon as ANYTHING out of the ordinary occures - snotty nose, dribbles, rosy cheeks, nappy rash that all seem to come and go I am informed by nursery, MIL, my parents etc., thats its teething.

It amuses me now.

DD2 has 11 teeth and is 2.8yrs!

Got her first one around 13mnths if i recall correctly.

DD1 was the opposite and has had a full set since she was 2.

Ds is 10 months and still all gums. It seems like he's been teething for ages and he has several lumps. Fortunately he doesn't seem to be suffering much. He's the only one left on our post natal thread without teetch. I keep saying to dh that he'll get several at once. I don't have to puree food but I still have to steam his fruit to soften it.

16 months! And the first 2 were his incisors. Vampire baby!

pardon · 20/06/2008 21:34

Do I mean incisors? Fangs anyway (probably an inappropriate smiley for such a thread)

columbolover · 20/06/2008 21:59

This is so reassuring!

DS 16mo, has 4 front teeth (came in all at once at age 1) and up until this week I thought he wasn't going to get anymore.

This week he has been so grumpy, seems to be teething and when he was chewing my finger (covered in calgel!)earlier I was most surprised not only to see a white speck of an incisor coming through but I could also feel big lumps in his gums where his molars are also getting ready to be born.

Eeek I think they're all coming in at once!

DS is 19 months and only has 4 teeth - the first one arriving just before he was one. A reassuring thread - I had been starting to get worried. But I love my little gummy bear!
