Toddler's fussy eating

Is this a normal stage of development?? My son just turned 2 and has suddenly become a massively fussy eater after eating almost everything. Today he has wanted to eat only toast, milk and apple, despite having been offered yoghurt, fruit, pasta and vegetables (as usual). I can't remember whether this is normal or whether it continues...

It’s normal in my household! My nearly 3 year old has gone through phases over the past year where he’ll eat fine for a little bit and then hardly eat anything or just refuse foods I know he loves usually. We’ve been going through a long phase of not really eating dinner. He mostly survives on yogurt and beans. I worry about him getting enough nutrients, but he seems to have boundless energy so I figure he must somehow be getting enough of most things to keep him going!
Also, is your son maybe getting a bit ill? Mine is extra fussy when he’s not feeling well so I just give him whatever he will eat or drink during those times.
The only sneaky way I’ve managed to get extra fruit and veg into him is through making smoothies which he loves - plenty of different fruits and then spinach or carrot.

My 3yr old girl is massively fussy, to the point where I think she'll just turn into a grape or a blueberry. Mealtimes are really hard - "I'm all done..." comes after only a few mouthfuls. She too has boundless energy and getting to sleep not a problem. She doesn't nap in the daytime any more. Everything seems ok, so why won't she eat more??? All help welcome

How is he drinking the milk? Cup, bottle, etc and how much? Full fat cows milk is very filling and fills them up so they are less likely to be very hungry for food.
