11 month old still possetting - a LOT!

My DD is 11 months, and still possets a lot. Definitely not sick, but substantial possetting, all day. She was always quite a sicky baby, but I think it petered out a bit, but since she has got much more mobile it seems to have got really bad. I have searched and searched and cant see it is aything to worry about - she is putting on weight fine (in fact she is 95th percentile for weight and height!), doesnt seem distressed by it. She has also had all 4 of her front top teeth come in recently, and I wondered whether this could be related in any way?!? I took her to the Gp this morning to check it out. He wasnt sure whether to advise Infant Gaviscon as she is quite old to still be possetting a lot, or whether something else should eb considered (though dont know what). He is going to speak to a peadeatrician and come back to me.
Just wondered, really, in the meantime, whether anyone else's DCs still possetted a lot at this age? None of the other babies I know around her age seem to any more at all.
Thanks!

Dd is 1yo. She possets very occasionally, if she has guzzled a bit fast, usually on the back of a cough or a big burp. But not often.

Sorry, that wasn't very reassuring, was it!

thanks for your reply anyway pinkjenny - thats what most of the babies I know seem to be like. Whereas with DD, if I take her to someone's house I have to put a mat/blanket down as I can guarantee she will posset on the floor - its quite a substantal amount 5 or 6 times a day.

My ds is 10 months and still possets wuite a lot. Not as often as he used to but still after every bottle and for an hour or two afterwards. I'm not too worried though, he is also big (98th centile) for height and weight. x

if your GP offered infant gavsicon he may have thought it was reflux?

reflux is often associated with a lot of posseting/vomiting

they can be "happy chuckers" ie sick without being unhappy about it (and thrive and gain weight etc)

Thanks all. rubyslippers - it was me that mentioned infant gaviscon, and the GP who said he wasnt sure.

Its just a pain as much as anything, now she is crawling around theres not much I can do apart from follow her around with wipes and apologise profusely everytime show sicks on people's carpets!
