5 year old shouting at other children

My ds who has just turned 5 has entered a phase where he shouts a lot about nothing. For example a small child visting us fell off his chair and knocked ds's drink over. Ds's reaction was to shout "LOOK WHAT SHE HAS DONE" quite agressively. Another example would be trying to build a den with his younger sister. She was helping and it didn't go as planned, he shouted "SHE HAS SPOILED IT". In both cases there was considerable agression. There has been lots of similar incidents in the past few weeks and when I ask him later why he shouted he says "I can't control my angriness".

Does anyone have any suggestions how to deal with this as it is not just at home but at school as well. He can't bear it if the smallest thing does not go as he thinks it should. HELP!

It is a phase. He is at the age of surging testosterone. Find things for him to do when he's angry, like a punch a pillow or shout into a cushion.

Thanks for the suggestion, will give it a go. Have tried to get him to count to 10 but to no avail. Does any one have any other ideas for when something like a pillow is not available?

Thanks.
