When to change daytime naps

DD is 1 year old & still having 2 one hour daytime naps 9 till 10am and then 2 till 3pm. It works quite well at the moment although she is sometimes reluctant to sleep in the afternoon. Should I be trying to cut this down to 1 longer sleep? Some people have seemed surprised that she is still having two sleeps and I dont know at what age if at all I should be trying to change this.

Does she sleep well at night? If so then I wouldn't worry. Be guided by her. She will drop a sleep when she is ready.

My dd still has a couple of hours in the afternoon and she is 3. She sleeps 12 hours through the night so it's not a problem.

Not sure why you want to change her naps if it suits you and her.
My year old dd sometimes has two naps. I say sometimes as she's beginning to drop her morning nap bit will always have post-lunch nap

My DD (14 months) has only just gone down to one nap a day and that was really because she started to wake during the night again and it was driving us nuts! However, it only works if we're at home during the day, otherwise we just have to go with it, but we never let her sleep beyond half three at the absolute latest.

She does sleep really well at night, right through from 7pm until 5 or 6am. She is always ready for her morning nap and always wakes up on her own after about an hour. Sometimes she misses the afternoon one or it is shorter if we are out and about in which case she will be ready for be a bit earlier. It would be lovely if she did sleep for longer in the afternoon though, think of the things I could get done!!!

My dd had 2 naps of a similar time until sh ewas around 15 months then naturally didn't want to go down for her morning nap until 11-11.30. i used to force her to stay awake until after I'd given her an (early) lunch and put her down after that. If your dd is wanting to drop the afternoon nap in a month or so I'd bring the morning one forward a bit if you can otherwise she'll be soooo tired by 4-5.
