Cutting out formula.

I’m just looking for some advice my daughter is turning one at the end of next month and the last time I saw the development team they told me I had to cut formula out by the time she turned one. She’s on three meals a day with snacks in between but she still takes a bottle on a night which helps her sleep through the night & then she’ll have the odd one during the day but very rarely…. Do I need to cut the formula out now or do I just allow her to cut it out herself like she’s been slowly doing over time ? Should I be expected to cut it out as soon as she turns one or is it okay for her to still have the one bottle on a night for a while ?

Unless she has medical needs (you mention a development team?) it's fine to carry on with the bedtime formula. It's a guideline rather than something you have to stop the second they turn one.

Once she turns one I would cut the formula during the day because that's easy to do and try cows milk at bedtime. See how you get on with that. Try swapping a bottle for a cup too.

We saw the development team as she was behind on some of the milestones (rolling, crawling etc so we were advised at our 9 month appointment to see if she made any improvement if not we had to make an appointment to see them again before she turned one to see if she had progressed (which thankfully she has she was just extremely slow at doing them but progressed further in other areas).
She very rarely has a bottle of formula throughout the day and might just have it if she refuses to eat any food that we offer her or sometimes she’ll prefer a bottle over food (she’ll eat the food but then will still be hungry and once she has a bottle she settles.

Just use cows milk.
It's advised to get off of bottles and move to cups for speech and mouth development and to not allow baby to fall asleep sucking as increased risk of pooling in eucracian tubes leading to infections as well as dry drowning.
