Are all schools suffering with behavioural issues?

I’m just looking for advice or shared experiences on current school behaviours for early years/KS2 kids.
My son is 6 and currently in year 1. He loves school and has come on really well since reception. His class is girl heavy (11 boys 19 girls) so hasn’t had many other boys to mix with. Most of the boys seem to have behaviour issues in some form or another. It’s always seemed a pretty turbulent year (2 classes) with class lockdowns because a kid is screaming or all of them being removed because a child won’t get out from under the table, the teacher being hit and sworn at. We have raised our son to be kind a respectful which he’s doing great at even with his mates hitting him and swearing a lot.
he came home last week and was pretty upset as he told me during a phonics class he went to the toilet, a year 2 lad from his class followed him, punched him in the privates and ran off. He told the teacher and me which I’m happy about and he has moved on from it but I can’t shake it off. A school mum told me that her son was kicked so hard in the privates during playtime he threw up and had to go to A&E!! Mums are blaming it on SEND or lack or support but am I thinking this behaviour is just too much or is this happening everywhere?!
Thanks for reading!
