Crazy fetal movements

Just wanted to ask a quick question for all worried mothers to be. If you had a crazy active fetus, moving, kicking non-stop all day all night long with no pattern, did they turn out happy and healthy? Some not very legit websites say they turn out ADHD or autistic?

DC1 never bloody stopped. Took a while to get the ADHD diagnosis.

There again DC2 just used to have a little shuffle about and go back to sleep and they also have ADHD so I wouldn’t really trust the websites Grin

ADHD is usually inherited so are you or your DH/DP diagnosed?

No both of us don’t have the condition

Both of mine were very, very active. DD1 did usually stop for a couple of hours in the wee smalls. DD2 didn't.

They are still quite young (5 and 3), but no developmental concerns thus far, good attention spans and social skills for their ages. They were both very active as young babies, but pretty middle of the road by the time they were toddlers. For them, it seemed to be that the super-activity dropped off as they became capable of other things to engage them and keep their brains busy – even as newborns, they'd go still if they were focused on someone's face, but put them down on a playmat, and it was arms and legs everywhere.
