Food pocketing

My 27 months old eats in a day ( example )
Breakfast: milk , yogurt and butter and jam toast
Snack pear and two sausages plus bread ( I know so random )
Lunch : small ham sandwich and few bites of carrots
Snack : half of banana
Dinner : bolognese pasta with courgettes

What I think it is nutritious for her, She eats

  1. pasta pesto
  2. Homemade bolognese
  3. Courgette , spinach and cauliflower if disguised
  4. Pasta with tuna or chickpeas
  5. Carrots and sometimes tomatoes
  6. Banana
  7. Burger sandwich
  8. Pasta with tomato and ricotta
  9. Egg rice noodles with broccoli and nuts
  10. Chicken tikka rice with peas

The reason I ask if this is picky eating it is because lately she turns her nose up when it comes to trying new food . She just licks it and says “ no I don’t want it “ . She has started pocketing some food ( she has always had a high palate and that’s where the food goes ) . I am absolutely devastated as she is possibly psd and no one of the health care providers want to refer her because she can eat normally and can speak in 3/4 word sentence with spontaneous language . So , for us , no OT or feeding therapy unless going private . I have tried HV , GP , private paediatrician.

She only pockets certain food like salmon or certain pasta .

I guess I have come here in the hope of finding some reassurance with this or a parent in a similar situation who can tell me it will pass .

As is the case of all the hundreds of threads you have posted, she's a toddler and this normal toddler behaviour.

It is nothing to be "devastated" about and the fact you haven't been referred to any professionals should speak volumes to you.

Have you actually got help for your anxiety or are you just going to keep going and posting thread after thread after thread of non issues.

Based on what the PP has said I’ve looked at some of your most recent threads @ToddlerMum312and I would also suggest getting help for your anxiety before you negatively affect your DD and your relationship with her, afterall things do not necessarily get easier to deal with as they get better older.
