My baby doesn't like Tummy time

I have an 11 week old and they are not a fan of tummy time. As a result I only do it once a day at least for a few minutes.

They are exclusively breastfed which I heard means they don't need as much tummy time due to neck control while they eat.

Their neck control when I hold them upright is good for the most part with my hand on their chest to give support when needed.

They've done tummy time between 30 seconds to 3 minutes depending on how long they tolerate it and sometimes they've burst out crying and immediately I pick them up to comfort them.

But am I delaying their development by not doing it as much with them. It's been hard to find the right window of time to do it due to how their eating and sleeping schedules have been recently and on some occasions when I thought it was the right time, they've up chucked on the mat because they still had a bit more wind than I realised.

Is it also true that any time they're on our chests with their heads up looking round this also counts as tummy time? Even when we're standing up right and walking around with them?

Has there been a lot of research to suggest no tummy time has delay issues or will my baby learn to roll over, sit up, crawl and stand in their own time?

Don’t panic - not many babies really enjoy tummy time to be honest. Keep doing the little bits you can here and there.
My son used to throw up every time we did tummy time. When he was about 4 months old the health visitor and feeding team told us to stop doing tummy time because his growth wasn’t improving due to being sick. So he didn’t do it and is absolutely fine now as a 2 year old. We spent a lot of time holding him upright, being in a sling or being on our chest at an angle. When he got to 6 months we started doing tummy time again because there was longer between feeds so less chance of being sick.
He skipped crawling and went straight to walking. He eventually learnt to crawl and roll but was just so much happier walking around from an early age. He’s completely fine. By about 18 months if you compared him to other toddlers you’d have no idea who had walked or crawled first or did loads of tummy time.
